After the Uchiha Clan Massacre, Itachi Uchiha fled Konohagakure and joined the Akatsuki, a criminal organization that was dedicated to collecting all of the Tailed Beasts
There are several reasons why Itachi joined the Akatsuki. First, he believed that the Akatsuki could be used to bring peace to the world. Second, he wanted to keep an eye on the Akatsuki and make sure that they did not pose a threat to Konohagakure. Third, he wanted to protect his younger brother, Sasuke, from the Akatsuki.
Itachi's decision to join the Akatsuki was a controversial one. Many people believed that he had betrayed Konohagakure and that he was now a villain. However, Itachi's true intentions were never malicious. He simply wanted to protect the people he loved and to create a better world.
Things Itachi accomplished while he was a member of the Akatsuki:
1. He helped to collect several of the Tailed Beasts. Itachi and his partner, Kisame Hoshigaki, were responsible for capturing several of the Tailed Beasts, including the Two-Tails, the Three-Tails, and the Eight-Tails.
2. He fought against many powerful opponents. Itachi fought against many powerful opponents during his time in the Akatsuki, including Killer B, Kisame Hoshigaki, Orochimaru, and Nagato. He always emerged victorious, even when he was outnumbered or outmatched.
3. He protected Sasuke from the Akatsuki. Itachi knew that the Akatsuki would eventually come after Sasuke, so he made it his mission to protect him.
4. He mastered the Sharingan. Itachi mastered the Sharingan at a very young age. He was able to use all three of the Sharingan's abilities: the Sharingan, the Mangekyo Sharingan, and the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan.
5. He revealed the truth about the Uchiha Clan Massacre and his true motives. Itachi revealed the truth about the Uchiha Clan Massacre to Sasuke before he died. He told Sasuke that he had killed the Uchiha clan to prevent a civil war, and that he had only pretended to be a villain in order to protect Sasuke.
6. He was a master of genjutsu. Itachi was a master of genjutsu. He was able to create illusions that were so powerful that they could even control the minds of bijuu.
7. He was a master of kenjutsu. Itachi was a master of kenjutsu. He was able to wield his sword, the Kusanagi, with great skill and precision.
